ABOUT THIS EVENT.
Super fluid and vibrantly coloured alcohol inks are a perfect medium for adding a splash of excitement to your arts and crafts. Use them on non porous surfaces and watch as the colours dry to create organic fluid shapes unlike any other paint or ink.
Exhibiting Ribble Valley artist Celia Davies presents a workshop learning how to use these highly pigmented inks along with textures, embellishments and other mixed media on yupo paper and primed canvas, in order to create two beautiful pieces of artwork. She will explain how to use the inks, and then take you through the step by step processes she uses to create her own visually inspiring work.
This workshop is relaxed, great fun, and an incredible learning opportunity in a lesser known painting medium.
All levels of experience are welcome and all materials are provided.
Please note : This workshop is not recommended for those with respiratory issues or pregnant ladies, due to the vapours.
