Clare Bigger

We’ve shown and sold Clare Bigger’s work from the moment we opened the doors at Longitude. Her manipulation of steel to create movement, strength and grace is amazing, coupled with a minimal use of the material she captures expression and muscle tone in both human and animal form.

She has recently appeared on the BBC, featured in ‘Home is where the art is’ where her final piece was chosen, a commission of the owner’s horse, Dragon.

Clare works from smaller scale living room pieces to garden sculptures to public space pieces. The largest of which being a 30ft sculpture of long jumper Greg Rutherford for Milton Keynes council.
